Don Hall's Tavern At Coventry

We've been here 2-3 times now and this last time was probably the best service we've had! We came on a Saturday evening and there is usually always a 15-20 min wait around that time. It has a homey feel to it. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip with PITA BREAD is the real reason I keep coming back. Safe to say this could pretty much be a meal in and of itself.

My wife and I go here very often. The Hs House is very good, especially by Don Hall's standards. We typically get the Tenderloin salad and she gets the chicken salad. The food is very consistent. The beers are always COLD. Service is typically excellent. The front desk hosts are pretty poor except they have a new young lady that is doing great! Keep up the great work!

One of my new favorite places to eat. The food was amazing one of the best steaks I have ever had. The service was also excellent. Get there early because it gets packed quickly.

First time there tonight and it did not disappoint! The food is so good! The portiins are huge and it was a mistake on us. We would have just gotten one entree if we would have known. I just cant get over how amazing the food was! The waitress was great as well. Will be coming back!

Great meeting place. Have had several meetings here and the locals love it. I have had burgers and salads and all were delicious. Worth the trip when in town.

My meal was good especially the shrimps. But my husband's steak didn't come out so good. Our waiter RJ did a good job with managing all the tables in our dining section.

Excellent is all I can say, and reasonable. Prime rib perfect, brocc and baked pot perfect. Three Yuenglings perfect ... total sans tip $32.

The prime rib melt was really good, greasy but good. The service was good and gave us space while having serious discussion.

We loved it. Waitress was very nice and fast and our prime Rib was delicious. We had the roll up appetizers of southwest flavors.

A very underrated restaurant. I hadn't previously heard of this place until I went to eat there. I wasn't expecting very much but I was VERY pleasantly surprised! They have a very extensive menu so I'll definitely be returning to try some more.

Excellent place. Food was fantastic! I had the Beef Manhattan. Best hot beef sandwich I've ever had. Husband had the prime rib and son had the rib eye steak. All cooked to perfection. Service was top notch and drinks were perfect. Great food at a great price.

Good food and services the now called Tin cap Burger or Buster sub for the old school is one of the best in town

Always a great meal and excellent service. I had the Bourbon glazed sirloin with wild rice and it was outstanding. My husband had his favorite Beef brisket and it was excellent as usual. We are always greeted right away and everyone has a smile.

Very nicely decor and comfortable. Food was of ample portions and very very good. The staff was very hospitaible and friendly.

Have eaten here for years. Enjoyed their food. However the last five times I got their burgers they were over cooked. Order medium rare, got medium well each time. The steak and shrimp are usually pretty good. Their beans are great. All considered they've slid from almost 4 star to barely three.

Always great food at reasonable prices. Servers are friendly and attentive. This place would always be my first recommendation to someone visiting Fort Wayne .

Broiled Haddock is fantastic. Garlic mashed potato and wild rice. Awesome

The wait staff is great. If you are there often enough, they get to know your name. The food is always good. The beer is cold enough to have ice on the glass. It is one of thee only restaurants in town that will reserve your favorite table for you every week unless your call and tell them otherwise.

This is a Don Hall's restaurant, so if you know Don Hall's, you know it's a great place to eat. The soup of the day was a little on the salty side, but all in all, it was a wonderful dining experience.

There isn’t anything bad on the menu. I bring colleagues here for dinner and they live the prime rib. The chicken sandwich and nachos are always good........... a follow up to this review. In another visit We ordered the garlic cheese bread, very tasty and gummy, yes, gummy. They might try toasting the bread a little. The bottom was if it came right out of the bag then sprayed with water solution. We’ve had this before and the bread was lightly toasted and refreshingly crunchy.

2nd favorite Hall's in the Fort.Always Great for a cold beer & a sandwich or salad.The prime rib melt is Very good & even better when you add mushrooms! Onion ring's are home made & come seasoned AS THEY SHOULD. The strawberry salad is Awesome as is the Tuna one.

I love the prime rib and breaded veggies. Nice and light. Their walleye is also yummy.

Enjoy the atmosphere, excellent food as is expected from Hall's, but it is a bit pricey.

We were staying at the Best Western around the corner and tried this place for dinner. Ask the hotel's front desk and they will give you a 10% off coupon for your total bill here. The cocktails were stiff and delicious, and the food hit the spot. She had the walleye and I tried the sirloin with shrimp. Very satisfying indeed. The service was top notch. Our server couldn't have been sweeter - quite the gal. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Service was great, we got in very quickly on a busy Friday night. Prices are good. However was very disappointed with the lack of seasoning of the food. Our steaks were cooked how we wanted, just zero flavor for the steak or garlic mashed potatoes.

On the road was going to another place and spotted this place. Menu is very good, wonderful food. Had the friend raviolis and they were delicious. Outstanding service. Quick, friendly and a lot of room. Cozy yet big

The food was really good. The hostess had to go tell our waitress we were there as she had not come to get our drink orders after close to 10 mins. This typically wouldn't be something I would foul somebody on, but there were only 2 other tables with people at them at that time. And our waitress was talking behind the bar with another staff. So not busy and she just wasn't paying attention.

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Just celebrated Christmas dinner with 24 family member's. We had 1 server and she did an amazing job! Nice family restaurant!

Had the filet mignon. While it was tender, as the cut should be, it seemed to be under seasoned. Mashed potatoes were a bit dry, but good. German chocolate cake was a winner.

Service was super slow tonight, but food was good. The pit beans and our orchard fries were luke warm when they came out. Waitress was friendly, but would say she'd be right back with something and we'd not see her for 10 minutes! Shrimp Po boy was kinda bland, but the cole slaw was on point tonight! The whole family liked the food, just not over the top. For a $70 bill a little too average.

Great food in a warm, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to meet friends for drinks or a good dinner. Friendly and professional staff. All of the Hall's restaurants are really good but this one's a gem.

Food was excellent. It was a new experience to eat with strobe lights going off as their lighting pulsed the entire time. Staff was friendly food and drinks came fast.

This place deserves the stars it's received! My server was able to quickly answer my questions on the menu. I ended up going with the prime rib with garlic parmesan risotto and the dinner Cesar salad. Excellent flavors, prime rib cooked as ordered. I would recommend and go again to try other items on the menu that looked good too.

Don Hall's resturant always has great food. We like the Tavern salad with steak. The atmosphere is nice, but the table next to us had a toddler that cried and fussed thru the whole meal.

The food and service was good, but they were a little slow. They did apologize about being slow and gave us some free desert because of it. I would probably go back.

Overall good experience. Food is always pretty good. Seem to have a little difficulty with the seating process sometimes. Otherwise no complaints. Good value and god food.
